It’s easy to overlook this little pub from the outside, but The Harp is one of London’s pre-eminent real ale pubs, indeed the best in the opinion of many, and it justifiably has a loyal following. They also do a decent drop of cider and perry, or pear cider. But don’t just take my word for it, look at the list of reviews conveniently placed on the front door (modesty is not one of their strong points, but then they do have a something to brag about), and their awards, including CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) London Cider Pub of the Year 2011 and CAMRA National Pub of the Year 2010/2011. The beer mats festooning the bar boast of the wide selection of ales that have been served here.
